Mission
New state laws have weakened local protections—leaving views unprotected and neighbors already impacted. Torrance still has the authority to set local standards and is allowing more construction than state law mandates. We want updates to local laws and planning processes that actually prioritize neighborhood compatibility, protect property equity, and utilize the full extent of local control allowed by law to preserve the unique character of our neighborhoods.
